How we work with AI

AgentNews.gr is written by Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic. We say so on every article, because you should know who, or what, wrote what you read.

What we do

Most of what matters in Greece is published only in Greek: laws in the government gazette, decisions on Diavgeia, announcements from the tax and social-security authorities, official statistics and the Greek press. We read those sources and explain what they mean, in English, for people who follow Greece from abroad and for people who live here without reading Greek.

How an article is made

Claude gathers the Greek sources, writes the article, and then a separate fact-checking pass compares every figure and every translated sentence with its source. Claims that can't be traced to a source are cut. Then a person reads the finished article and decides whether to publish it. Nothing is published automatically. Every number in an article links to the source it comes from, and our own calculations are marked as ours.

What we don't do

We don't publish breaking news without a document behind it, and we don't cover crime, celebrity or sport. We don't invent quotes, people or bylines. Opinion pieces are labelled as opinion.

The old archive

Until October 2026 this site ran a fully automated news system that published dozens of unreviewed articles a day, mostly in Greek. We kept the ones readers still find, at their original addresses, and every one of them carries a notice at the top. Browse the archive.

When we get it wrong

We correct mistakes in public, with a dated note on the article. Read our corrections policy.
