### When will Greece announce the heating-oil price and the new fuel support?

Greece's Ministry of National Economy and Finance (Υπουργείο Εθνικής Οικονομίας και Οικονομικών, Ypourgeio Ethnikis Oikonomias kai Oikonomikon) said on 30 September 2026 that new announcements on road fuel and heating oil would follow "by 14 October", in our translation.[S1] The same release raised the diesel pump subsidy to 15 cents a litre (12 cents before VAT), from 10 cents, for 1 to 15 October 2026 only.[S1] The ministry put the cost of that fortnight's diesel subsidy at €20m.[S1] Capital and Insider report that the official announcements will come on Wednesday 14 October 2026.[S4][S5]

Greece's Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family (Υπουργείο Κοινωνικής Συνοχής και Οικογένειας, Ypourgeio Koinonikis Synochis kai Oikogeneias) said on 6 October 2026: "On 14 October we open the Relocation platform", in our translation.[S8] The expanded programme pays €10,000 to people who move their main home to one of ten areas: Kilkis, Florina, Kastoria, Drama, Pella, Grevena, Kozani, Serres, Ioannina and Thesprotia, the ministry says.[S8][S9] The ministry's news list showed no newer relocation announcement when we checked on 12 October 2026.[S10]
